Portable Dust Collectors. Portable dust collectors, or source collectors, minimize air particle contamination in workshops, plants and manufacturing facilities by gathering in air at the source of the contamination and filtering it.

A pulse jet cartridge dust collector is an air pollution control device that uses a reverse burst of compressed air to periodically clean pleated filter cartridges, dislodging collected dust particles into a hopper for disposal. These compact systems offer high filtration area in a small footprint and are suitable for various industrial applications, from grinding and chemical processing to food and pharmaceuticals. Key specifications include the material construction (mild or stainless steel), filtration efficiency (often up to 99% for fine dusts), airflow capacity (e.g., 400 CMH and above), and voltage/frequency ratings. Description
Filtration Mechanism:Dust-laden air enters the collector and passes through pleated, round filter cartridges, which trap particulate matter on their surface.
Cleaning System:A sequential timer activates a solenoid valve that releases a pulse of high-pressure compressed air through a blowpipe into the filter cartridges.
Dust Removal:This pulse of air creates a reverse flow, causing the filter cartridges to expand and dislodge the accumulated dust, which then falls into a lower collection hopper.
Continuous Operation:Because cleaning happens row-by-row, only some of the filters are interrupted at a time, allowing for continuous airflow and purified air output.
Features & Advantages
Compact Design:Cartridge collectors offer a large filter surface area in a small volume, requiring less floor space.
High Efficiency:They are highly efficient at capturing fine dust particles.
Cartridge dust collector are next generation Bag filter type dust collector using Pleated cartridge filters for effectively capturing finer dusts instead of filter bags. Cartridge type dust collectors have many advantages over traditional bag collectors, like large filter area packed in smaller overall sizes hence reduces overall size of dust collectors for same capacity, which saves a lot in structural casing cost and expensive factory floor space. High filter area to overall dimension ratio means less number of cartridges will be required and saves a lot of productivity time during filter change out and it’s easy comparably.
The pleated filter cartridge is a filter cartridge with pleated structure filter medium. In terms of filtration efficiency, it can be divided into absolute filter efficiency and nominal filter efficiency. According to the material properties of the filter membrane, it can be divided into hydrophilic and hydrophobic.

An industrial cyclone dust collector is a device that uses centrifugal force to separate heavy dust particles from an airstream, employing a conical or cylindrical housing to create a vortex. Dusty air enters tangentially, spiraling downwards as centrifugal force pushes heavier particles to the wall and into a collection hopper. Cleaner air then rises through a central vortex to exit from the top, often to a secondary filter for finer particles or released directly. These cost-effective systems are valued for their durability, low maintenance (no moving parts), ability to handle large dust volumes, and use as pre-cleaners before more complex filters. Working Principle
Air Inlet: Dusty air enters the cyclone through an inlet, often designed tangentially to create a spinning motion.
Vortex Formation: The air begins to spiral, forming a vortex inside the cylindrical or conical chamber.
Centrifugal Separation: The spinning motion creates centrifugal force, which pushes heavier dust particles towards the cyclone's outer walls.
Particle Collection: As the particles lose momentum at the walls, they fall downwards and collect in a hopper or bin located at the bottom of the unit.
Clean Air Outlet: The lighter, cleaner air continues to spiral inwards and then rises through a central core to an outlet at the top, before being discharged.
The material of Filter media of this cartridge contains modified cellulose. This filter media will remove up to 95% of total hydrocarbon elements from water in just a single pass. Dissolved oil, emulsions & dispersed droplets are also adsorbed and retained from water by filter media.
